The Blog is Back!

After a yearlong hiatus, we're back on the road, spurred by equal parts wanderlust, a passion for history, and a quest for adventure.  

Our current list of coming attractions for this trip includes our own version of the Civil War trail, catching a few baseball games (who can resist a team named the Nashville Flying Squirrels?), the Corvette museum--sinkhole and all, plus any can't-miss attractions like the World's Largest Red Cedar Bucket.  

Why spend time visiting Civil War sites? When we stood on spots like the Wheat Field in Gettysburg a few years ago our experience  of the Civil War was transformed from a dry list of ancient dates and names to a time period that shaped our country in ways that still matter today.
